matcha steel cut oats - makes 2 servings, 20 mins.

This delicious recipe for matcha steel cut oats was provided courtesy of the legend Joshua Armitage from Two Six Wellness.

  • 1 gram of Matcha Wednesday matcha powder 

  • 88 grams Steel Cut Oats

  • 356 ml Water

  • 250 milligrams Sea Salt

  • 60 ml Unsweetened Almond Milk - or milk of choice

  • 74 grams Blueberries

  1. Add the steel cut oats, water and sea salt to a small pot over medium-low heat and bring to a low simmer, stirring as needed.

  2. Cook for 13 to 15 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat, and add the matcha powder and almond milk.

  4. Add the oats to a bowl and top with blueberries.

  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

  • Can refrigerate your matcha steel cut oats in an airtight container for up to three days.

  • Add maple syrup or vanilla extract if you are wanting more flavour.
