This delicious recipe for matcha steel cut oats was provided courtesy of the legend Joshua Armitage from Two Six Wellness.
1 gram of Matcha Wednesday matcha powder
88 grams Steel Cut Oats
356 ml Water
250 milligrams Sea Salt
60 ml Unsweetened Almond Milk - or milk of choice
74 grams Blueberries
Add the steel cut oats, water and sea salt to a small pot over medium-low heat and bring to a low simmer, stirring as needed.
Cook for 13 to 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, and add the matcha powder and almond milk.
Add the oats to a bowl and top with blueberries.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Can refrigerate your matcha steel cut oats in an airtight container for up to three days.
Add maple syrup or vanilla extract if you are wanting more flavour.
