This delicious recipe for matcha overnight oats was provided courtesy of the legend Joshua Armitage from Two Six Wellness. The perfect way to start your day if you need to hit the ground running - simply prepare these the night before and you're all set to grab and go in the morning. We like to prepare them in little jars to make it even easier.
1 gram Matcha Wednesday matcha powder
81 grams Oats (rolled)
300 ml Unsweetened Almond Milk - or milk of choice
24 grams Chia Seeds
2 ml Vanilla Extract
1 Banana (sliced) - or mixed berries if you don't have a banana.
Add the oats, almond milk, matcha powder, chia seeds, and vanilla extract together in a large container.
Stir well to combine. Seal and place in the fridge overnight, or for at least eight hours.
Remove the oats from the fridge.
Divide into containers and top with the banana slices (optional extra topping: almond butter). Enjoy!
Notes:
Refrigerate matcha overnight oats in an airtight container for up to four days. Enjoy cold, or warm on the stovetop with almond milk.
