matcha latte - 1 serving, 5 mins.

A creamy, hot matcha latte is our favourite way to have matcha. Quick, easy and nutritious - this is the ideal way to start your day, and works equally well for an afternoon pick-me-up!

  • 1 teaspoon of Matcha Wednesday matcha powder

  • A splash of hot water

  • Milk of choice (our fave is coconut milk)

  • Sweetener of choice: our favourites are maple syrup, honey or coconut sugar.

  1. Heat your milk. You can do this by filling a pot on the stove with milk and stirring regularly, or steam using a milk wand on a coffee machine. Set aside.

  2. In a mug, combine 1 teaspoon of matcha powder with a splash of hot water and a teaspoon or two of your sweetener of choice. Mix until there are no lumps.

  3. Pour hot milk into the matcha mixture.

  4. Enjoy your matcha latte!
