matcha energy balls, 14 servings, 15 minutes

This delicious recipe for matcha energy balls was provided courtesy of the legend Joshua Armitage from Two Six Wellness. We love these for a mid-afternoon pick me up or pre-pilates workout.

  • 9 grams of Matcha Wednesday matcha powder

  • 143 grams of Almonds

  • 101 grams of Hazelnuts

  • 22 ml of Coconut Oil

  • 147 grams of Pitted Dates

  • 20 grams of Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

  • 2 grams of Sea salt.

  1. Add the almonds, hazelnuts, matcha powder, coconut oil, dates, coconut flakes and sea salt to a food processor and blend until well mixed and sticky.

  2. Transfer to a medium-size mixing bowl.

  3. Form into even balls with your hands, roughly 1-inch in diameter.

  4. Dust with more matcha powder if desired.

  5. Store in the fridge or freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes:

  • Refrigerate the matcha energy balls in an airtight container for up to seven days or in the freezer for three months.

  • No hazelnuts? Replace with more almonds instead.
