Every Wednesday, while the world is still asleep, two friends make a thermos of creamy hot matcha and meet on the beach to wait for the sun to rise. A swim in the cool ocean to awaken the spirit, a hot cup of matcha to bring vibrancy to the mind and nourishment to the body, and a friendship to warm the heart; the perfect start to the day. Before long, Matcha Wednesdays became our favourite day of the week, more friends joined us, and eventually Matcha Wednesdays extended to Matcha Mondays as well; grounding moments in the morning connecting with friends over a hot matcha. And so, Matcha Wednesday matcha powder was born from a desire to share our morning ritual with you; adding the extra ch-cha to your matcha to live your best life, every day.
